So pleased to sharing with you the rhythm of my brush strokes. It is my Art language!
The magic of painting allows me the freedom to communicate my dreams, my passion; it is like dancing with the luxury of colours!
I am thankful for the gift which I have such gratitude and appreciation.
This web gallery is just a glimpse of my artworks. Many of my paintings are adorning client's walls and being enjoyed in their favorite places.
I have painted commissions for medical clinics in Ottawa, legal firms and special commissions for private collectors.
Never Give Up - Picture above was commissioned by a volunteer nurse for this Youth Center located at 1 Nicholas street in Downtown Ottawa. I wanted to give them the vision of the raven bird, one of the most intelligent bird. With many raven eyes that hides through the colours to give them hope and the reflections of the silver leaf to give them a mirror of their souls and to give the youth visitors a mirror of inspiration for a better life vision to come.
I am a self taught artist, inspired by many amazing artists. Such as Madame Yollande Morin, une grande artiste de notre région de Vanier, Ontario., ainsi que Madame Suzanne Frère, Mrs. Pearl Atkinson, Bruno Coté, Gaston Rebry, Text Lecor and many more talented artists.
I am born in a military family in Germany, 1958, brought up in a world where vision and determination was encouraged and supported. At a very young age I was fueled with desire to reproduce what I saw. I am still amazed when looking at clouds; I can always see something special to paint in their configuration. When one experience creativity like me, you can truly love to challenge yourself to express it with paint on canvass.
Try it!
You will find peace in yourself. With colours you can create anything and if you truly put your heart in it, it has a true meaning of your soul and it deliver beautiful messages.
In my "Vision" series, I invite you to unlock your true potential by gazing into the depths of your own heart. These paintings are more than just art; they're designed to serve as a vision board, infusing each piece with positive energy and the dreams that fuel them. My hope is that when you look at them, you connect with your own aspirations and keep your dreams alive.
For me, the art of vision is about seeing beyond the ordinary, expressing the unspoken, and recognizing the frequency of your energy and harmony. I've combined abstract elements with vibrant colors to inspire you to believe in the possibility of making your dreams a reality. This series is not just a visual experience but a journey into the unspoken, where the power of vision and the beauty of aspiration merge into a vibrant symphony of possibility.
When I start preparing a new canvas, I am in a good place in my heart, mind and soul.
It is the essence of my soul creating a message and it is there waiting for me to take the first steps.
I believe that colours have that special thing to deliver my feelings, my passion, my vision!
A painting progressing is very satisfying, it appears right in front of my eyes. It is a process much like Life. It's about stages of hues (colours), values, resistance, challenges, and I must push myself at times to stay focused . Starting with an outline of the subject, mixing my colours choices, getting the base, knowing I can achieve anything I put my heart in!. I am always on the quest of continuing developing my skills and acquiring knowledge just like Life stages. I cover my canvas , add layers and textures, knowing that my vision and transition will come alive and most importantly deliver my message.
It is very satisfying. Every day I am celebrating life in a colourful way!
It is like finding your own voice. Nothing compares.
I owe it to the world to put my work out there to spread the knowledge to people that are meant for it. My mission is to make everyone who wish to benefit from the magic of colours and the beauty of arts to reach out. My art experience is a gift to share.
I believe in the message an art of work delivers and I hope that through my life Art journey, my colours brings you to a
peaceful place and joyful experience.

Maureen McAuliff: My Dance with Colours Journey.
Greetings, I'm Maureen McAuliff, an artist whose journey is an exploration of vibrant expressions and heartfelt emotions through the medium of art.
Born into a military family in Zweibrücken, Germany, in 1958, I inherited a legacy of vision and determination that has guided my artistic endeavors.
Passion Unleashed: From an early age, I found inspiration in the world around me. Still yo this day clouds, with their ever-changing configurations, never cease to amaze me. I see something special in their dance across the sky. My desire to reproduce what I see and share these visions led me to the world of art.
The Language of Colors: For me, the rhythm of my brushstroke is the language of my heart. Painting is a magical dance, a liberation that allows me to communicate my dreams and passions. It's a symphony of colours that brings my imagination to life—a dance with the luxury of vibrant hues.
Gratitude and Legacy: I am profoundly grateful to my parents for gifting me with the greatest legacy—a love for art. My siblings and my darling son have been constant sources of inspiration and support, elevating my creativity to new heights. To my dearest sister Kathleen, your strength, wisdom, and encouragement have opened my eyes to the boundless possibilities life offers.
Acknowledgments and Art Community: Special thanks to my friends Patrick John Mills, Jocelyn Bond and Joanne McGregor, and their families, for their unwavering support. To my art collectors and friends, your enthusiasm fuels my passion and inspires me to continue this artistic journey. And to my fellow artists and friends, your presence adds an extra heartbeat to the rhythm of my creations.
The Healing Power of Art: Art has been a transformative force in my life, helping me navigate challenges and rediscover my creativity. Despite setbacks, including a life-altering car accident in 1974, I've emerged resilient, using art as a form of self-expression and healing.
Commitment to Kindness: In the spirit of giving back, I had the privilege of participating in the "Kindness is Everything" art show, summer of 2023, as well as contributing in artwork donation to the Bernadette McCann House—a shelter for women facing domestic abuse located in Pembroke, Ontario.
In April 2024, I painted live in Carleton Place and donated the full proceeds of the painting
to the Carleton Place District Memorial Hospital Foundation.
I believe Art is in me to give.
These acts of kindness and generosity reflects my commitment to making a positive impact through art and I welcome your invitation to invite me to your gratitude endeavours to make this world a better place.
